What you get

What is The Hill at CU Boulder?

The Hill is the neighborhood bordering the University of Colorado Boulder campus, along University Avenue and 13th Street. It is where much of CU student life happens off campus: restaurants, music venues like the Fox Theater, coffee shops, and a large share of student housing.

Who leads Tour The Hill tours?

Every tour is led by a current CU Boulder student. Guides live the student experience day to day and cover housing, dining, Greek life, nightlife, and the outdoors alongside campus itself.

How much does a Tour The Hill tour cost, and how long is it?

A Private Tour is $150 per group and runs 60 to 90 minutes, depending on what you want to see. A 30-minute Virtual 1-on-1 with a current student is $50.

How is this different from the official CU Boulder campus tour?

An official campus tour focuses on academics and campus buildings. Tour The Hill covers the roughly 75 percent of student time spent outside class: where students live, eat, and spend their time off campus, told from a current student’s perspective. Official tours also run on the university’s calendar. Tour The Hill runs 7 days a week, around your trip.

When can I take a Tour The Hill tour?

Tours run 7 days a week, 9am to 6pm, weekends included. Tell us when you are in Boulder and we build the tour around your trip instead of asking you to fit a fixed schedule.

Are Tour The Hill tours private?

Yes. Every tour is fully private and shaped around your group’s questions, pace, and interests. Group pricing and discovery calls are available.
