Private CU Boulder Tours, Led by Current Students
Tour The Hill runs private tours of the CU Boulder campus and The Hill, the neighborhood next to campus where much of student life happens. A current CU Boulder student leads every tour. A Private Tour is $150 per group, runs 60 to 90 minutes, and is available 7 days a week.
What happens on a private CU Boulder tour?
It is just your group and a current CU Boulder student. You walk campus, The Hill, Greek life, and the neighborhoods where students actually live. Ask about dorms, housing, dining, nightlife, the outdoors, or anything else, and the route follows your questions.
How much does a private CU Boulder tour cost?
A Private Tour is $150, and the price is per group, so siblings and grandparents can come too. A Virtual 1-on-1 is $50.
How long is the tour?
60 to 90 minutes. The length depends on what you want to see and how many questions you have.
Who leads the tours?
Current CU Boulder students. Tour The Hill was started by CU Boulder students, and the guides live the student experience every day, so the answers come from people living it right now.
Can you tour CU Boulder on a weekend?
Yes. Tour The Hill runs tours 7 days a week, 9am to 6pm, Saturdays and Sundays included.
Is Tour The Hill the official CU Boulder tour?
No. CU Boulder's admissions office runs its own free information session and student-led campus tour, and you register for it on the CU admissions website.
Should we still take the official campus tour?
If your schedule allows, yes. The official tour is the place for admissions and academics. A Tour The Hill tour covers the rest: The Hill, off-campus housing, Greek life, and what a normal week at CU actually feels like.
Can we do this without coming to Boulder?
Yes. The Virtual 1-on-1 is a 30-minute video call with a current CU Boulder student. Ask about dorms, Greek life, classes, or what the day to day actually feels like.
